Weekly Wash Events
Monday Mud Wash
Here at Make ’um Cherry, we know weekends are for beach days, hunting trips, and cruising the dirt roads. When the adventure’s done, swing by and let us Make ’um Cherry for the week!
Wednesday Salt Wash
We all know how tough that salt crust can be, especially when your ride’s fresh off the barge. Schedule your salt wash the same day it lands, and we’ll have it looking better than when it got shipped—clean, fresh, and cherry!

Senior Discounts and our free "Kūpuna Auto Care Kit."
The Kūpuna Auto Care Kit
is designed with simplicity and independence in mind. It includes a spray bottle of our waterless exterior wash solution and microfiber towels — so our kūpuna can keep their cars clean and shining without the hassle of hoses or heavy buckets. Just spray, wait, and wipe — clean and easy.
Because taking care of our kūpuna is how we take care of Lāna‘i.

🌺 Make 'um Shine Scholarship Car Wash Fundraiser 🌺
Helping Lāna‘i Graduates Shine — On the Road and in Life
At Make ‘um Cherry, we believe in investing in our island’s future. That’s why we’re launching a
week-long car wash fundraiser every other month, starting in June and ending in April— all leading up to a scholarship award in May for graduating Lāna‘i seniors.

How It Works:
- 10 cars a day
- 7 days
- $200 per wash
- 50% of proceeds go directly to the Make 'um Shine Scholarship Fund
Goal: $42,000 total raised over the year
All funds raised through these events will be pooled and distributed in May, supporting local graduates as they begin their next chapter — whether it’s college, trade school, or career training.

Aloha, my name is Ariah Shimokawa, and I am an incoming freshman at Arizona State
University where I will major in Popular Music.
My passion for music began when I was seven and joined the Lāna‘i Academy of
Performing Arts (LAPA). Being born and raised in Hawaii gave me a supportive
community and being a part of LAPA gave me another community where I could explore
the arts surrounded by students who shared the same interests.
LAPA sparked a deep curiosity about the performing arts, and eventually, I was always
doing something musical, whether that was learning how to play instruments or writing
my own music. Gradually, that curiosity turned into dedication and at 17, I released my
first two singles.
While I continue to feel passionate about performing and songwriting, I’ve also
developed a strong interest in music production. Recording music on my own and
working with a music producer has made me realize how interested I am in the
technology that brings songs to life. I hope to learn the ins and outs of constructing a
song from the ground up and working hands-on with software to create new sounds in
music.
As a Popular Music student at Arizona State University, I’m excited to dive deeper into
music production, refine my songwriting, and grow both personally and musically. I see
this opportunity as the next step in my journey, and not just to become a better artist,
but to explore the full potential of my voice, creativity, and identity.

How long does a detailing service take, and what is included?
Detailing service time depends on three things:
- Service Requested
- Size of the Vehicle
- The Vehicles Condition
General Rough Estimates for most vehicles
- Any Ceramic Coating: Minimum 2 days
- Glaze, Seal, Wax: Minimum 1 Day
- Deep Clean Interior: Minimum 1 Day
- Basic Maintenance Wash: Between 2 - 4hrs
Can detailing remove scratches and swirl marks from my car's paint?
We do our best during the paint correction process to remove and mitigate all scratches and swirls but we do not guarantee their complete removal. The best way to tell if a scratch or swirl has a good chance of being removed is to run your finger nail across it. If your nail can glide across without skipping chances are good we can get it out.
Do you have same-day appointments?
No we do not offer same day appointments. However if you are in a rush to get your ride looking cherry we may be able to expedite your service date for an additional RUSH SERVICE Charge.
